Privacy and cookies

The short version is no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. The host keeps standard server logs. Apart from those, the only personal information involved is what you choose to type into the contact form.

§ 1 Cookie policy

This site uses no cookies. It does not track you. It runs no analytics and no tracking scripts of any kind. Nothing is stored on your device. So there is no cookie banner and nothing to accept or decline.

§ 2 What this site does not do

§ 3 The contact form

The contact page and the hire page carry a form. Nothing is sent unless you fill it in and press the button.

If you do, the details you type are sent through Web3Forms, a form delivery service, to my email inbox. That means your name, your email address, your organisation if you give one, the subject you pick and your message. I use them to answer your message and for nothing else.

The Web3Forms privacy policy describes how Web3Forms handles the data that passes through it.

If you would like me to delete a message you have sent, say so through the same form and I will delete it.

§ 4 Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard server logs of the requests it receives. Logs of this kind typically include the IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser's user agent. The site itself adds nothing to them. Its privacy policy describes how Vercel handles that data.

My field notes link to external sources. When you follow one of those links you leave this site. The destination's own privacy policy applies.

§ 6 Who is responsible

I, Frank Vitetta, publish this site. You can send questions about this page through the contact form. If the site's practices change, I will update this page. The date above will change too.
